<p>Time for another Menu Plan Monday.  This week, I&#8217;m pulling some stuff out of the freezer (the red cabbage and jerked chicken) and trying several new dishes. Welcome to another attempt at Menu Plan Monday.  I&#8217;m always making menus to help with the groceries, but I don&#8217;t always post them here.  Sometimes I forget, other times I think they&#8217;re simply not that interesting enough to share.  That said, the sales at Meijer this week are encouraging me to use some recipes I haven&#8217;t done in a while, plus a new sourdough based recipe.</p>
<p>Saturday is <a href="http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html">Talk Like A Pirate Day</a>!  There will be much pirating to be had, and the day will be capped off by a trip to the Caribbean with <a href="http://cheflisa.lisahartjes.com/2009/01/jerk-chicken-with-roasted-peppers-and-pineapple/">Jerked Chicken with Roasted Peppers and Pineapple</a>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s been a while since I got off my butt and posted a weekly menu.  We&#8217;re in the midst of a kitchen renovation, so what we&#8217;re eating isn&#8217;t exactly typical.  For cooking, we&#8217;re limited to microwave, grill, slow cooker and our George Foreman G# grill (the one with removable plates).  Then there&#8217;s cold meals or ordering in pizza.  The pizzas for ordering in cost us only the gas to pick them up &#8211; we won enough coupons for 6 free medium pizzas through a local fundraiser raffle.</p>
<p>So, without further ado, here&#8217;s the menu for July 18th through July 24th.  Because the kids are off for summer break, I&#8217;ve had to plan lunches too.</p>
